HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Northern Broadcasting System is visiting the Hi-Line this week as part of their Tow Rope Tour honoring local residents and businesses who have helped the community persevere through the pandemic.
The Tour will be broadcasting live from the Diesel Tech Center on the MSU-Northern Campus in Havre from 9 AM-Noon on Thursday.
Tom Schultz, the host of Voices of Montana, says this event, which will air live on KPQX, will allow for those that have stepped up over the last year to be formally recognized.
“Day in and day out, they are pitching in on this event or helping this organization, or even just walking across the street and helping that neighbor out. Whatever the need is, I know a lot of people in Havre are doing that. We’re just trying to draw attention to that and say thanks.”
This week’s stretch of the tour began today in Shelby at Northtown Drug.
On Friday, the Tour moves to Crossroads Coffee and Bistro in Malta. The events are open to the public.
The nomination period for Tow Rope Heroes remains open at www.northernbroadcasting.com/towropetour.
