BILLINGS, Mont. (NMB) – The Billings Gazette reports that an 18-year-old has been arrested on a deliberate homicide charge for his alleged role in the murder of a 22-year-old Chicago man in a downtown Billings alley on June 24th.
Billings Police have announced the arrest of Brijen Fisher, who is currently in custody at the Yellowstone County Detention Center.
The shooting occurred in the alley between First and Second Avenue North and North 27th Street. Two men were found at the scene with gunshot wounds, one of which died of their injuries.
The man killed was identified as Thaddeus Merritt, with the cause of death listed as multiple gunshot wounds.
