HARLOWTOWN, Mont. (NMB) – The lighting-caused American Fork Fire in the northeast Crazy Mountains was estimated at over 12,300 acres with just 10 percent containment on Monday morning.
The fire, which is about 24 miles southwest of Harlowtown, began on July 17th. It more than doubled in size on Sunday due to extreme fire conditions.
These conditions are expected to continue over the next few days as hot, dry and windy weather is in the forecast.
There are no reports of any injuries or damage to structures.
