HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation will be holding an All Class Reunion this Saturday from 1-9 PM at the Community Center at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.
HPSEF Executive Director Amanda Meyer says this event will be in place of the Fossil Festival, a much larger-scale event that has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
“The Fossil Festival is definitely a much larger gathering with a whole weekend full of events planned. At this point, when we were discussing it at the beginning of the year, we didn’t think it was prudent to move forward with that this year. But knowing that there was still some smaller classes planning get-togethers anyway, we just kind of wanted to provide a space for them. That way, they could hear about the Foundation and see all the things that we’re doing and then also give them a space to have a gathering with everyone at the same time.”
Meyer says they are working on planning another event on New Year’s Eve, but nothing has been finalized on that front.
The reunion will be held at the same time as the Vikings Harvest Farmers Market, which will also be at the Fairgrounds.
