
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Registered Nurse Sarah Spangler, the Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Sletten Cancer Center Nursing, has been appointed as President of the Montana Board of Nursing.
Spangler joined the Board via appointment in October 2019 and has served on several subcommittees. She will serve as President for four years, with duties that include presiding at all Board meetings, serving as the Board’s official representative, and appointing members to serve on committees.
The Montana Board of Nursing is the authorized professional and occupational licensing organization for all nurse assistants in the state. The Board has the authority and permission to take any necessary decision or issue any regulation required to promote and standardize the level of medical services in the state.
