The Missouri Valley Invitational wrestling tournament is comprised of a field of forty teams and over 400 wrestlers. It is the most talented field to confront the MSU-Northern wrestlers in the new year. So far the Lights have four wrestlers still alive on the championship side of the bracket in their weight classes. They are Nick Kuntz at 133, Conner Harris 157, Chas Short 165, and Isaak Bartell 197. Other wrestlers still alive in the wrestle back phase of the tournament include Nakoda Siegel, Devin Crawford, and Rylan Burns. The Lights are 11th in the team standings with 29 points.
