On Saturday afternoon the MSU Northern Skylights traveled to Butte to challenge the Montana Tech Ore Diggers in the first half of the Frontier Conference double header. In what fans feared was going to be a streak for the Skylights turned out to be a huge turnaround for Northern with the offense rebounding their strategy and securing the win with three minutes left in the game. Montana Tech tried to recover but the Skylights earned the hashmark in the win column, final score Skylights 70, Montana Tech 63.
