Montana Reports Over 1,000 New COVID Cases on Thursday

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – DPHHS reported 1,058 new COVID-19 cases across Montana in their daily update on Thursday morning, along with 3 new COVID-related deaths.

The active case count remains below the record levels seen last week but is still above 14,000, while there are 338 active COVID-related hospitalizations, a decrease of two since Wednesday.

Three counties reported over 100 new cases of the virus on Wednesday, led by Missoula with 197, Lewis and Clark with 142, and Flathead with 109.

54 percent of eligible Montanans are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with over 1.38 million doses administered.
