WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. (NMB) – The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center has announced that a snowmobiler was killed in an avalanche Sunday near West Yellowstone.
A press release says the rider was in the Lionhead area and was carried into trees.
Life-saving efforts on-scene were unsuccessful.
