Fresno Safety of Dams Modification Public Meetings Set

BILLINGS, Mont. (NMB) – The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled public meetings across the Hi-Line later this month to discuss the status of the Fresno Safety of Dams Modification Project.

A press release states that the focus of the meetings will be the need and design for the project, operational impacts, and the repayment requirements of Milk River Project stakeholders.

On Monday, March 14th, there will be a meeting in Glasgow at 4 PM at the Elks Lodge Banquet Room.

On Tuesday, March 15th, there will be a meeting at 4 PM at the Great Northern Inn Conference Room in Malta.

On Wednesday, March 16th, there will be a meeting at 5 PM at the Best Western Plus Havre Inn and Suites Banquet Room in Havre at 5 PM.

On Thursday, March 17th, there will be a meeting at 10 AM in Chinook in the Triple E Room of the County Courthouse. At 1 PM, there will be a meeting at the Fort Belknap Community Center.

This project falls under the Safety of Dams program, which focuses on evaluating and implementing actions to resolve safety concerns at Reclamation dams.
