Great Falls Man Convicted of Deliberate Homicide for Teton County Killing

CHOTEAU, Mont. (NMB) – A Great Falls man has been convicted of deliberate homicide for fatally shooting a Fairfield man in Teton County last May.

Erin Elliot Holcomb, who was 25 at the time, fatally shot 22-year-old Trysten Fellers after he tried to give Holcomb a ride home and stop him from driving away from a party intoxicated.

Holcomb was convicted on Monday in Teton County District Court.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 12th, and Holcomb remains in custody.

The case was prosecuted by Montana Department of Justice attorneys Meghann Paddock and David Buchler.
