The Havre High tennis teams opened the 2022 season at Saturday’s Cut Bank Invitational. The Blue Pony girls got a doubles championship from the team of Grace Crantz and Courtney Burchard, while Mylee Shennum and Kat Kaftan finished fourth. In singles, freshman Tonya Ralph took fourth in 3-4 singles. On the boys side, Trenton Maloughney and Caleb Spangler beat teammates Theron Peterson and Carter Spangler for the championship in doubles, while Josh Currie took first and Kendall Pleninger finished third in boys singles 1-2. In boys singles 3-4, Jared Rosgaard beat teammate Gavin Hall in the championship match, while Matt Huse finished fourth.
Next up for the Blue Pony tennis team will be the Conrad Invitational in Conrad on Saturday, April 2nd.
