HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Friends of Beaver Creek Park has begun their Save the Lodge fundraising campaign.
Board member Ursula Brese says they are selling raffle tickets for $20 each or six for $100, with all funds going towards the project to rehabilitate Beaver Creek Lodge
“First prize is $4,000, second prize is a half a beef, and third is a rifle. And we will also have 15-20 other items we’ll also raffle off, too.”
Brese says the Lodge is an icon, and ensuring it can remain a community fixture for generations to come is crucial.
“People have gotten married out there, the camps use it, different organizations have had meetings out there. We kind of figure it’s like an icon to Beaver Creek Park.”
Tickets can be purchased by messaging the Friends of Beaver Creek Park Facebook page or by visiting Lodestar, Bear Paw Meats, Havre Beneath the Streets, Hill County Printing, or PJ’s (only certain evenings). By next week, Treasure State Title Company in Chinook is also expected to have tickets available.
The raffle will conclude on September 18th.
