The Havre High School Boys and Girls Tennis Teams traveled to Great Falls on Tuesday for duals against Great Falls High and CMR.
On the Boys Side, Havre defeated Great Falls High Six matches to Two. Havre was led by all four doubles teams picking up victories. In boys singles, Josh Currie and Matthew Huse secured victories for the Blue Ponies.
On the girls side, Havre and Great Falls high battled to a 4-4 tie. Rayna Johnson and Grace Crantz picked up singles victories. In Girls Doubles the teams of Courtney Burchard and Chloe Bricker and Claudia Vain and Tanya Ralph secured victories for the Blue Ponies.
In their second duals of the day the Blue Ponies faced the Rustlers from CMR High School.
CMR Defeated the Havre Boys 5-3 Picking up wins for the Blue Ponies Were Josh Currie and Jared Rosgaard in Singles and Reid Kato and Tre Gary in Doubles. The Girls competition saw the CMR Girls defeat the Ponies 6-2. Megan Ogden notched a singles victory by default and doubles team of Tonya Ralph and Claudia Ucin were victorious.
Next up for the Pony netters is a trip to Glendive on Friday for their invitational.
