BROWNING, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 47-year-old Browning man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Tuesday, May 17th.
The incident occurred at about 11:50 PM, when the man was driving a GMC Yukon northbound at mile marker 2.9 of Secondary Highway 464. The driver overcorrected to the left after the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, causing it to trip near the road edge and roll.
The Yukon came to rest in the northbound lane on its driver side. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt and was the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Alcohol, drugs or excessive speed are not suspected in the crash.
The road was bare and dry.
