OTTAWA (NMB) – The Government of Canada has announced that current border measures for travelers entering Canada have been extended until at least June 30th.
The current rules, which have been in place since April 1st, allows travelers who are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Canada without having to quarantine or take a pre-entry test.
All travelers five-year-of-age and up who do not qualify as fully vaccinated and are not considered exempt must quarantine for 14 days upon entry and provide proof of an accepted pre-entry test result.
Fully vaccinated travelers may be randomly tested upon arrival, but do not have to quarantine while awaiting the result.
All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, must continue to submit their information into the free ArriveCAN app prior to arrival.
