(NMB)The MSU Northern basketball program will be hosting their Lights summer league beginning this Monday June 6th.The league features three different age groups. Fourth through sixth grade, seventh through ninth grade and sophomores through seniors. Lights head coach and league director Shawn Huse says the lights summer league is a great time for kids to work on their individual and team skills.”It really helps them to get that extra bit of work in and hear from somebody else. A lot of times it’s all the same stuff they are already being told and taught and presented in different ways. I think sometimes that’s real healthy.”
The league will run every Monday through July 11th and will feature twenty to thirty minutes of individual work and about and hour of open gym/scrimmage time each night.
There is still time to sign up and you can find all the Summer League information On the MSU Northern Athletic web page. Go Lights Go dot com.
