HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 1,501 new COVID-19 cases and 23 new COVID related deaths across the state in their weekly update, which covers the week from Thursday, May 26th through Wednesday, June 3rd.
Gallatin County led the way with 301 new cases of the virus, followed by Missoula with 192, Lewis and Clark with 164, Yellowstone with 150, Flathead with 113, and Cascade with 94.
As of May 31st, there were 46 active COVID hospitalizations in Montana.
