(NMB) The Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited will be holding their Youth Challenge Fun Day at Fresno Reservoir This Friday. Walleye member Bob Nelson says it’s just a fun day of fishing for the kids. “Go fish for a while, come back and feed them and we always present them with a fishing pole and stuff like that, and some prizes for those that catch. Ya, it’s a fun deal.”
There will be a rules meeting at 8:30am at the Walleye Campground Pavilion. Fishing will be from 9am until noon followed by a barbecue and awards session. Fishing may be done from the shore or boats. Nelson says there should be enough boats and if you have a youngster who would like to fish from a boat you can call him at 406-390-2695. There is no charge for youth 12 years of age and under. Entry forms are available at Bing N Bob’s, Stromberg’s Sinclair, North Forty Outfitters or at the Grocery Store in Big Sandy.
