
The Hill County Commission met Thursday morning for their weekly business meeting to approve several agenda items.
The commission unanimously approved a right-of way lease with Douglas Demerest which would require individuals or clubs that need to access Mr. Demerest’s property to reach equipment on Mount Royal to sign an agreement and pay a fee of $150.
Justin Miller and Tyler Kapperud 4 year reappointments in the Gildford Water and Sewer Disrict were approved by the Commission, as well as a 4-year appointment for Landon Warren who replaces Don Miller.
Many items that required further discussion or additional paperwork to approve were tabled until their June 16th meeting. Those items included the Laredo Easement which the commission requires the location of an apartment complex’s sewer and water schematics to continue. Other items tabled were:review of the use policy for the County’s current departmental credit card, the County’s Care Contract with Plus Health care, and an easement and right of way for Lift Station 21.
