Hill County Sees COVID-19 Case Increase

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County saw an increase in COVID-19 activity in the past week.

The Hill County Health Department says that between June 21st and June 27th, there were 57 new COVID-19 cases reported for Hill County, although some are already considered recovered.

As of Monday evening, Hill County’s known active case count was at 38, with one active hospitalization.

As of Tuesday evening, the Rocky Boy’s Reservation was at 33 active cases. Many of these are likely included in Hill County’s case count, but it is unclear how many, as Reservation data is not separated by county due to privacy concerns.

In Blaine County, no new COVID-19 cases were reported between June 25th and 28th, while there were three recoveries and a hospitalization discharge. As of Tuesday evening, Blaine County was at one known active COVID-19 case, with no hospitalizations.

People that test positive on an at-home test should contact their local health department to get it verified.
