ANACONDA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 31-year-old Anaconda woman was killed and a 38-year-old Anaconda man was injured when a side-by-side crashed in Deer Lodge County on Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred at 2:42 on Waste Water Road, when the man was driving the Polaris side-by-side westbound. The vehicle left the right side of the road while going around a sharp curve. It began to spin and overturned, ejecting the passenger, who was pronounced deceased after being transported to a local hospital.
The driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
Both occupants were not wearing seatbelts.
The road was bare and dry.
