Havre, MT -Montana State University-Northern Lights football began practices on Monday in Helmets and shorts. The pads were put on for Wednesday’s practice for the real work to begin.
Lights senior and captain Brayden Cline spoke post practice Wednesday on how summer workouts impacted the start of camp.
“I would say they were definitely a lot different than years prior. Definitely a lot more football-based workouts – and a lot more running than we’ve done in previous summer and fall camps. I think we’re going to be coming into this season in a lot better shape than usual.”
The Lights are going into a new year with new coaches and new players looking to improve on one win a year ago.
