HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services says that from Thursday, July 7th through Wednesday, July 13th, 2,648 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the state.
Most counties in southern and western Montana are now considered to have high rates of community transmission, according to the dashboard.
Yellowstone County reported the most new COVID-19 cases in the past week, with 355. Missoula reported 329 new cases, Gallatin reported 290, Flathead reported 278, Lewis and Clark 244, and Cascade 236.
3,455 Montanans have suffered COVID-19 related deaths. 53 percent of the state’s eligible population is considered fully immunized against the virus.
