(NMB) The Havre High School volleyball team will get their 2022 season underway Friday and Saturday as they compete in the Eastern “A” tip off tournament in Lockwood. Head coach of the Blue Ponies Steph Huse says she is looking for two things out of her team this opening weekend. “I’m looking for lot of energy and a lot of consistency. I think those are the two things we need to focus on right now. Just making sure we are bringing high energy every single time we are on the floor, and then just becoming more consistent with what we do as far as our offense and defense.”
The Ponies will play all the Eastern “A” teams over the two day event. Each match will be two sets played to twenty five. This opening weekend of the season will allow Coach Huse to try some things with the offense and defense and help solidify player rotations and their roles. New Media Broadcasters will have scores from this weekends Eastern “A” Tip Off Volleyball tournament in Lockwood.
