
On Friday Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks announced it will host open house dates across the State giving anglers the opportunity to comment on 42 proposals for the 2023/24 regulation booklet.
FWP is moved from a four year cycle regulation process to a two year cycle. FWP reports as part of the new process, they are soliciting ideas from the public on what changes to consider.
The proposals were developed by Montana FWP staff after working with the public on identifying what changes were needed in the current regulations.
The scheduled dates and locations for public input:
Statewide Zoom: September 13 at 6PM
Region 1 September 14 at 4PM at Region 1 Headquarters 490 North Meridan Road in Kalispell
Region 2: September 15 at 6PM in the Region 2 Headquarters at 3201 Spurgin Road in Missoula
Region 3: September 8 at 7PM at the DNRC Building at 840 North Montana St in Dillon
September 19 at 6PM at Region 3 Headquarters 1400 South 19th St in Bozeman
Region 4: September 7 at 7PM at Region 4 Headquarters 4600 Giant Springs in Great Falls
Region 5: September 14 at 4:30PM at Region 5 Headquarters 2300 Lake Elmo Dr
Region 6: September 20 at 5PM at Region 6 Headquarters Quonset Building 2165 Hwy 2 East
Region 7: September 7 at 7PM at the Miles City Community College 2715 Dickinson Street in Miles City
