HAVRE (NMB) On Thursday the Hill County Commission met for their weekly business meeting to approve resolutions for the county.
One resolution and order involved setting a budget for RSID and lights for several locations in Hill County. The total amount approved was $456,140.
A second resolution involved fixing salaries of current office holders for the fiscal year through June 30, 2023, which could only be changed if the county commissioners adopt a superseding salary matrix. It passed 3 to 0.
The Third resolution presented before the commission was to adopt the final budget and appropriations for county funds for the fiscal year through June30, 2023 which the commission unanimously approved with no discussion.
One item on the agenda was a vendor invoice with the State of Montana for the Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Motor Vehicles Recycling and Disposal with an invoice amount totaling $8,294.37.
The original contracted amount was $31,519 and Hill County Treasurer Sandy Brown said this program is not very active and in the past the money was used up when there was a person to collect cars. Brown added it was allowable to use the money to destroy junk mobiles.
