(NMB) The Havre Blue Pony Volleyball team is off to a 2 and zero start in the Northeast “A” Conference, and they finally get to play on their home court this Saturday. Glendive comes to town for a conference matchup and while Coach Stephanie Huse says they’ve been scouting Glendive a bit, the main focus is still on what her team can control. “We focus a little bit more on us and what we can control, but we still maintain an awareness of what they’re bringing with them and they’ve got some experience on their team, some good athletes.”
While her team is excited to finally play in front of their home crowd, it will be important for them to keep their emotions in check. “It’s definitely exciting and so, one of the things we’ve talked about all season is kind of maintaining in the middle. Not riding too high of the highs or too low of the lows. Just trying to find a good middle ground when we compete so we don’t let oue emotions run us.”
The Pony versus Glendive Volleyball match will get underway Saturday at 4pm inside The Blue Pony Gym.
