(NMB) The Havre Blue Ponies Volleyball team has been tough to beat so far this year and the key according to Head Coach Stephanie Huse is everybody is having a positive impact. “Any given night you can have someone step up. If another girl is struggling, it’s not one, two or three, it’s all girls that touch that floor night in and night out is having a positive impact on what we’re doing.”
Havre will be on the road this Friday and Saturday for the Blocktoberfest tournament in Butte. Coach Huse says it will be nice to see some other teams besides their Eastern “A” opponents. “That’s the reason why we like to play in this tournament, is being able to see different teams. Be challenged by different things that the West is doing.”
The format for the Blocktoberfest will consist of pool play on Friday with teams playing two sets to 25. Saturday, teams are seeded according to their records from Friday’s results.
