A new Montana Farmers Union Local has formed on the Hi-Line.
A newly formed Montana Farmers Union Local for Liberty and Toole counties has elected officers and joined other Locals across the state in continuing MFU’s efforts to help family farms and rural communities thrive.
Rachel Prevost, who serves as MFU’s Member Services and Government Affairs Director said, “this group will continue to meet and can submit policy resolutions to the MFU state resolutions committee, advocate at the state legislature, and be active in supporting their local communities.”
After voting to form the Local, the following officers were elected: John Wicks, president; Gary Blonde, vice president; and Charlotte Kelly, secretary/treasurer.
