The MSU-Northern Lights face off against Corban University on Friday and Bushnell University on Saturday, both games being played in Helena.
The men are off to a 7-1 start, matching their hot start from last season. With an important 2 game stretch coming up and a lot of offensive firepower, Head Coach of the Lights Shawn Huse breaks down what he expects from his defense to meet the challenge against Corban.
“We have to be able to guard everybody in term of what they do well, but also be able to read their actions and counter those actions with different schemes that we have.”
With a 7-1 start to the season, Coach Huse is very happy with the progression of his team but knows they still can improve.
There’s lots to clean up. We didn’t take advantage of some great opportunities offensively and defensively we had a few lapses.”
