Fentanyl is of growing concern in Montana. Both Cj Riechelt the Supervisor of the Tri-Agency Drug Task Force and Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage have reported noticing an increase in fentanyl in and around the Havre community.
Attorney General Knudsen of Montana has recently partnered with the nonprofit Voices for Awareness to combat the rise of the dangerous drug fentanyl in the state of Montana.
Andrea Thomas the founder of Voices for Awareness explains what her nonprofit will be doing in partnership with the AG’s office for Montana schools.
“Your AG is going to put some of our opioid reversal and education kits into your schools in Montana. He wants to canvas Montana high schools and junior highs with this information to try to safeguard your youth.”-Andrea Thomas
