The Havre Blue Ponies basketball team is back in action this Friday against Custer.
Boys Head Coach Waylon Burgess talked about the match up.
“They’re a tough team. They’ve only lost one game themselves and Billings Central was a common opponent we all lost to. They beat Glendive right before Christmas break. They match up pretty much across the board with us and we have a feeling that Friday is going to be a pretty good battle for us. Lot of good defensive talk for su over this Christmas break. It’s going to be interesting to see us come out and see what kind of energy we bring. We know it’s going to be sloppy at first. The first game back in two weeks. We know there’s going to be some weird things that happened early on, but were hoping by second half, we’re pretty much settled in and back to where we were at before we hit break.”– Burgess
