Box Elder Man Accused of Stealing $1,500 from Walmart

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday, a Box Elder man was arrested for theft after being accused of stealing from his employer.

30-year-old Jordan Gardipee has a pending charge of felony theft and is accused of stealing money and not properly ringing up items for people he knew. He was being held at the Hill County Detention Center as of Monday morning without bond.

Hill County Undersheriff Stan Martin says Gardipee allegedly stole or gave away over $1,500 in money and items while working as a cashier at Walmart. Walmart started investigating at the beginning of March after discovering $100 was missing.

Gardipee was hired in December.
