Governor Gianforte recently visited India for a Montana trade mission, and he sat down with New Media Broadcasters to discuss the purpose and results of the trip.
“Here’s why it’s important. India is probably one of the fastest growing markets in the world It’s currently the 5th largest economy in the world and by 2030 it’s projected to be the 3rd largest. They’re also the world’s largest consumer of pulse crops; peas, chickpeas, and lentil. And Montana is the largest producer of pulse crops in North America.”
