(Hill County) – According to the Department of Environmental Quality(DEQ), the air quality for Havre is currently at the moderate level for sensitive groups due to smoke.
Sensitive groups should be monitored during this time and to limit physical activity. Sensitive groups are considered by the DEQ to be older adults, pregnant women, children ages 0 to 17 years, and people with chronic conditions.
The reduction in air quality is from a shift in wind conditions bringing Canadian wildfire smoke into the region.
