(Dodson) – On August 29th the The Phillips County Sheriffs Office received a call from Blaine County Sheriffs Office reporting they had received a bomb threat toward the Dodson School in Dodson. Afterward the Superintendent for Dodson school called 911 to report that he had received a similar call.
The Phillips County Sheriffs Office, United States Border Patrol, Glasgow police department and Phillips County Fire and Ambulance Service personnel responded to the incident evacuating the school and moving staff and students to a safe location. the school was then searched but no explosive device was found on the premises.
Shortly after the suspect was taken into custody on the Fort Belknap Reservation and after a though search the school was declared secure. the incident is still under investigation at this time.
