Leon LaSalle Inducted into Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame

(Havre) – Local Resident Leon LaSalle of Laredo has been inducted into the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame.

LaSalle was born in Havre and was raised in the Bear Paw Mountains. He graduated from Havre High School and after a couple years began to work for the USDA Soil Conservation Service. He retired form the USDA in April of 2021 and went on to start his own business that allowed him to work wiht ranchers to hel them stay on their land.

Leon was Inducted due to his help in preserving and investing in western heritage of Montana for the enrichment of the public and for his goal to improve the economic opportunity for rural America
