After 2 Months of Being Officially Open MPPC Fairs Well

(Havre) – With The Montana Premium Processing Co-op having been in operation for 3 months since it officially opened. New Media Broadcasters sat down with Walter Schweitzer the president of the Montana Farmers Union to ask how the co-op has done in that time.

“Great we’re processing somewhere around 10 to 15 livestock a week and USDA inspected for sale and our producer members have been gearing up to increase the production and get more livestock here and Bill Jones the manager is looking for good skilled butchers and if you’re not he’ll train you to be a butcher and we just need some more help here at the MPPC. So, if you are in the Havre area or if you moved to the Havre area and would like to try out the career of being a butcher/ a meat cutter get a hold of Bill Jones at Montana Premium Processing Co-op.”
