(Washington, D.C.) – On November 30th, United States Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and White House Office of Public Engagement Director Stephen Benjamin held a roundtable discussion with local producers and community leaders in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
During the meeting they highlighted efforts by the Biden-Harris Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to help farmers stay on the farm and continue farming, build more, new and better markets, and strengthen farming operations and businesses in South Carolina and across the nation. They also highlighted investments by the USDA to help future leaders start and thrive in their agricultural careers.
