(Chinook) Chinook has a number of teachers and administrative stuff that are coming up on their retirement dates, and it’s unclear who’s going to fill their shoes.
Chinook Public Schools Superintendent Fred Hofman says that while they aren’t at a shortage yet, that day might be coming soon.
“We anticipate a number of openings for the upcoming school year, so ’24 – ’25, and so we’ve had kind of some Chinook legends, Matt Molyneaux our principal and Paula Molyneaux are both retiring. Paula has been here, I don’t know the number of years, but we’re talking multiple decades. So we’ve got a couple of big holes to fill and those positions have been advertised for a while.”
