(Blaine County) Justice of Peace Perry Miller is retiring. He served Blaine County for 29 years.
Miller says that he’s retiring amid health complications following his stroke last summer, namely experiencing double vision and tiring more easily. During his retirement party, he told a crowd of hundreds “if I can’t give 125 percent to my job it’s time to leave.”
Miller is also resigning from his positions as city judge for both Harlem and Chinook. Jim Doyle was sworn was sworn in December of 2023 to succeed Miller as Justice of Peace, Doyle most recently holding the position of Justice Court Administrator.
