(Blaine County) The Blaine County Museum recently opened a new exhibit on a civil war era legend.
Luther Sage Kelly, or Yellowstone Kelly, was a Union soldier during the latter stages of the Civil War who spent a huge chunk of his life in the west as an outdoorsmen, even becoming a member of President Teddy Roosevelt’s “tennis court,” a group of close friends and confidants of the president known for his love of the outdoors and adventure.
The exhibit was designed and distributed by the Western Heritage Center in Billings, and consists of nine panel detailing Kelly’s life. T
The Yellowstone Kelly exhibit will be on display at the Blaine County Museum, for free, through the end of June.
