(Montana Farmers Union) The Montana Farmers Union says their grant funding application deadline is less than a month away.
The MFU said in a press release that the deadline to apply for $30,000 in grant funding from the Montana Farmers Union Foundation is May 1st.
Project applications must include an educational component for youth and/or adults with priority given to rural communities, and previously funded projects have ranged, from creating school gardens to documentaries about women in agriculture.
The grant program is open to anyone from Montana, more information on the MFU website.
