(Havre) The County Officials met for their monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 17th.
The primary focus of discussion for most of the meeting was the updates to the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system in the building, which will put the 2nd and 3rd floor out of use for and extended period of time and will affect county function as a whole.
Some of the discussion was around where meetings will be held in lieu of the current places, as the Timmons room will be repurposed for office space while the updates are going on.
Commissioner Mark Peterson said during the meeting that there “will be frustrations” as a result of this project, urging everyone to “be patient” as they get things figured out as well as during the project as disruptions are all but guaranteed.
The next meeting is scheduled for May, the date and location all are still undetermined.
