The Midland Roundtable Montana – Wyoming All-Star Basketball Rosters were announced for this high school senior-laden showcase. There is one local talent who will be representing the Montana All-Stars.
Montana Tech commit and former Chinook All-State star Hallie Neibauer will suit up as part of her summer circuit and represent the best that the Treasure State has to offer in terms of up-and-coming talent against their foes to the south. She will be one of two future Oredigger women along with Halle Haber from Billings West.
Both Montana rosters comprise of lots of familiar talent to the Hi-Line as players from both parties competed in the 2024 Hi-Line Invitational this past March at MSU-Northern’s Armory Gym.
It’ll be a Keller-fest as Steve Keller, the most decorated winner in Montana high school basketball coaching history and former head man at Western and Providence, will lead the boys’ team, while his son, current Rocky Mountain College women’s basketball coach Wes Keller, will be on the bench for the girls.
The MT-WY All-Star Basketball challenge has been doing a home-and-home series since the 1970s for the boys and the 1990s for the girls. The state of Montana leads the state of Wyoming in both categories, (67-27) for the boys and (39-13) for the girls. The boys’ have won the last 22 games, while the girls’ have defeated Wyoming 13 years in a row. This year’s games will take place on Jun. 14 in Gillette, WY, while Lockwood High School will host Jun. 15.
