(Billings) The Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park saw a rare occurrence this past week.
Photos taken by Kalispell photographer Erin Braaten are circulating the wildlife community of a rare white buffalo, which she took just moments after the calf was born.
The Native American Culture considers the birth of a white bison, said to be a sign of the beginning of life’s sacred loop. Some even say the birth is a good omen and brings sense of hope and a sign of good times to come.
