(Havre) Havre Fire Department said in a news release that the best way to enjoy fireworks this Independence Day is to watch a display conducted by professionals, but for those that do plan on using fireworks, remember some pertinent guidelines.
Firework ordinance within city limits allows for fireworks from July 2nd through July 4th from 8am to midnight, but not all fireworks are allowed. Skyrockets, Roman Candles, and bottle rocket fireworks are excluded along with any fireworks banned in the state of Montana.
Discharging fireworks in city parks is not allowed, and anyone who fails to clean up their debris will be cited for littering.
