(Havre) The Hill County Officials met for their quarterly all-together meeting, and each official in attendance gave a small report on what’s going on in their department.
The heating, vents, and air conditioning system replacement is coming along in the courthouse, and the project has now entered the abatement process where old equipment will be removed and new will be installed.
The Hill County District Court reports that in observance of more intensive work in the courthouse, September 9th will be the first day for off-site jury trials to begin using MSU Northern facilities.
Hill County Health Officer Kim Berg reported a new “harm reduction” vending machine coming to Havre, which will be dispensing materials for hygiene, overdosing, and other heath related products.
In addition, Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross also announced that law enforcement in the area has started a new round of crisis intervention training. Stay tuned for more on these stories as they develop.
