(Havre) A public forum with many local area candidates up for election this November 5th was held on October 17th.
The forum, which took place in Hensler Auditorium on MSU Northern’s Campus, was moderated by Tim Leeds, and saw four pairs of local candidates.
House District 28 candidates Blake Borst and Eric Albus went first, followed by Senate District 16 candidates Perri Jacobs and Jonathan Windy Boy, then Hill County Board of Commissioners Candidates Sam Ayers and Bill Lanier and concluded with House District 27 candidates Paul Tuss and Ed Hill.
Each pair netted either 4 or 5 questions that were of direct relevance to their race, each being given 2 minutes to respond with time for rebuttal on either side afterwards.
